Can we just shortly talk about how impressive deep the character of Kate Beckett is? When it’s about her job, she’s strong, straight up and concentrated. Her self esteem in that scene in the upper cap is really high, she’s very sure about what she’s doing, what is right and what wrong, she’s totally focused. 

When it comes to her feelings, though, the relationship with Castle, she struggles. She’s questioning his feelings and motives, let’s things or people influence her. She’s very unsure, it’s the weak, soft side of her.

I love how you can tell that even from her outfit/hair in what state of mind she is, I really appreciate that the Castle office thinks about those tiny things. It adds so much depth to the whole show.

SO. BRILLIANT.
