Finally, someone tells Castle that Beckett cares about him! Because people have been doing it the other way round for the whole show (Sorenson, Kyra, Shaw, Royce, etc etc) and it still hasn't quite got through to Beckett. Hopefully Castle is quicker on the uptake.
So I know that some people think Beckett and Royce were actually lovers. I respect that and I totally acknowledge the possibility, but from my understanding he was just more like that older male figure in her life that she idolised and was somewhat infatuated with. It seemed to me like a one-sided thing- I didn't really see it as being reciprocated by Royce. Anyone else want to share their thoughts?
“But that being said neither one of them wants to be the one exposing themselves or to be the one to say,”I love you” first because the bar for how hurt they could get if the other one doesn’t respond is so high.”
I love how everything in Castle somehow manages to boil down to Castle and Beckett's relationship; such as an argument about letting go of her mother's killer somehow also becoming an argument about how they're both frustrated by not knowing where they stand with each other...
I hate that I’m always the last to see new promos and sneak peeks but OMFG that was soooo epic and I just want to sit in the corner of my room with the lights off and rock back and forth for the next week… and the next four months…
Flattery (regarding beauty, sexual attractiveness)
Online chat, texting and other one-on-one and direct messaging services while hinting affection.
Footsie, a form of flirtation in which people use their feet to play with each others’ feet. This generally takes place under a table or in bed while rubbing feet. Participants often remove their shoes and play barefoot; however, it can also be played in socks, or wearing shoes. Though this method can backfire, as the general opinion of feet can depend on the culture and society of the area.
If your best friend, who lives close to an hour away, loved Castle too and wanted to watch it with you, would you agree to ONLY watch new eps together even if you only see each other every fortnight or so?
I got my best friend into Castle in January, and we watched all the previously-aired eps together. And then we made a deal that we HAD to watch every new episode together as well. Normally, I can handle waiting an extra week (or even two weeks) to watch an ep, but now… I have to say I’m struggling. I won’t be watching Pretty Dead and the finale until the 18th at least. She loves Castle, but not nearly as much as I do, so waiting doesn’t bother her, whereas it nearly kills me. I love watching Castle with her, and I know it wouldn’t be the same without her, but still, this whole thing is just making me want to tear my hair out in frustration.
Castle Tuesdays are simultaneously the best and worst day of my week. When I'm watching Castle, they're the best. When Castle isn't on, or when (like this week) I'm not allowed to watch it, they're the worst. I just hope next week comes quickly so I can watch both Pretty Dead and Knockout together.
Normally, I completely and utterly worship Beckett- she can pretty much do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. But in Set Up and Countdown... I just feel so sorry for Castle. She's breaking his heart and doesn't even realise it.
It's amazing how Castle can improve your mood. Turning on the TV to discover 'Set Up' just starting = instant happiness.
The funniest part is that I realised Castle was on before even seeing the TV… because I recognised the tone of the alarm that’s blaring at the very start of the episode as Castle is dragged into the decontamination tent lol
Also, watching Castle on an actual TV is AMAZING. Especially when that TV is HUGE and High-Def XD although watching with ads is weird haha…
And so somehow I get the feeling that this smile will be staying on my face for at least the next 40 minutes or so….
Reblog if you went back and watched (or considered going back to watch) 3x03 'Under The Gun' just to see how Castle & Beckett were acting and what Royce might have seen that made him believe they had something real between them....
That awesome moment when you're watching some random movie and think, "That guy looks SO familiar...." before realising that he played Jeremy Preswick (aka Jay the amnesiac) in Castle 2x11 'The Fifth Bullet'.
It’s jaw-dropper. It’s a lot of twists and turns and you’re not going to really expect the ending. I can honestly say that the audience is just going to be hanging and dying for Season 4 to start. I mean it’s a great cliffhanger. It’s an amazing action story, an amazing storyline. And when these guys get to the end of that episode your mouths are gonna be open, you’re gonna have tears in your eyes, and you’re gonna want to know what happens — but you’re gonna have to wait. You’re going to be counting down the days for Season 4 to begin.
WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS TO US??? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE THE ENTIRE SUMMER? HOW?? AND I HAVEN’T EVEN WATCHED THE EPISODE YET!
B- B- BUT WH- WH- WHAT HAPPENS????? I can’t handle this right now!!
Oh god all I can say is thank god Lanie and Castle never hooked up… and also, this finale is GOING TO KILL ME.
Is there anyone else that's SO GLAD Beckett didn't kill Gants?? Not just because she'd then be a murderer and go to jail (although the thought did terrify me) but because you simply didn't want to see Dominic Purcell die??
Seriously, aside from all the Caskett amazingness, having Dom in this episode was one of the highlights for me. Prison Break is the only show I’ve ever loved more than Castle, and to see one of my favourite PB actors in this show was like every christmas come at once. And he was such a BAMF!! Although, I’ll admit I was horrified when it was him that killed Royce, and seriously, what’s with him playing characters that go to jail for murder…
In a few minutes I have to go to a 3 hour tutorial on learning how to perform an ECG test on someone. Honestly, my patient could probably have ventricular fibrillation and be on the verge of complete heart failure and I probably wouldn't notice right about now.
But luckily, my patient will actually be a healthy med student, so thankfully Castle won’t be responsible for making me accidentally kill someone before I’m even a qualified doctor.
